Well... it's not a finished work and I think it never will, I haven't time for that. Sorry for the bad quality, I hope you like it anyway.

It's the first time I draw Vixy Reinard and James McCloud , Fox McCloud's parents.
Hard to draw Vixy... We have few informations about her and just one pic in a comic (I don't really like it by the way). I made a lot of research and sketches to decide what she looks like... the mother of the hero's appearance and character are inevitably influenced Fox.

Vixy must looks like a mother (kind, strong) but sufficiently attractive to be a charismatic wife for James.
I also try to respect the comic and give her the famous similarity with Fara . Tell me if you like her like this or not.

As a fan of the Star Fox games, and a little of the comics, needless to say I'm pretty impressed with this. It speaks so much about the characters from the series, and how much has happened in Fox's life in the games. It shows a side of the characters often unspoken of too much or spoken so little about for a game like StarFox, and seeing a picture that one wouldn't normally probably see in the games themselves considering it's direction makes it unique and memorable, sentimental in a beautiful way, about it.

Baby McCloud looks so adorable there, and Vixy looks like a caring mother, someone we'd all know from experience as the kind of mother who'd want Fox to have a good fate. James, too.

My only complaint would probably be that James's body position looks a little awkward, with stiff shoulders and a head larger than the bod itself-- unless he's meant to be leaning back. Vixy seems okay fo the most part as far as body postioning goes. James might need a little refinement, but other than that, I like it. :)

Hmm, imagine a mass effect-style Star Fox, and this is in Fox's quarters on the great fox.

I know this comment is really really really late, but seeing this picture kind of tugs at the heart a little because it really drives home the fact that both of his parents are dead. Good job on this picture.
